FX Commentary: Dollar Moves In Narrow Margins
The dollar was fairly steady in overnight dealings, and for the most part remained inside recent trading ranges versus major currencies.
European growth and price data had little impact overall, while commodity prices held a firmer tone, which weighed slightly on the greenback, and further gains, especially on the oil front, will likely keep the USD under some pressure. The U.S. economic calendar will reveal July CPI and weekly jobless claims at 8:30 EDT.
