* Average prices at the pump fell below $4/gallon, the first time in 8 weeks
* US weekly retail gasoline demand is 3.4% lower than the same week a year ago
* The 4wk average for retail gas demand was 9.567mln BPD, down 4% from the same 4 weeks in 2007
* Average gas price down 11 cents to $3.91/gallon
